Child Safety Standards
Last updated: September 14, 2026
These standards apply to The Super Group mobile application (the "App") and our website at thesupergroup.co, operated by Supergroup Digital (Pty) Ltd("The Super Group," "we," "us," or "our").
1. Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation
The Super Group has a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). It is prohibited everywhere in our services — in community rooms, direct messages, photos and files, member profiles, listings, and jobs. This includes:
- child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, including drawn, animated, or AI-generated imagery;
- grooming, or any attempt to contact a minor for a sexual purpose;
- sexual extortion ("sextortion") of a minor;
- trafficking or the sexualisation of minors in any form;
- sharing, requesting, or linking to any of the above, or promoting or normalising it.
2. Who can use The Super Group
You must be at least 16 years old to use our services. The App is a verified community for superyacht crew: before anyone can use member features, we verify their identity and crew credentials.
3. How to report a concern
- In the App: tap Report on any message, direct message, listing, job, or member profile, choose Inappropriate Content (or Other), and add any details. Reports go straight to our moderation team.
- By email: write to hello@thesupergroup.co with "Child safety" in the subject line.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police or emergency services first.
4. How we respond
We review every report. When we find content or conduct that breaches these standards, we:
- remove the content;
- permanently terminate the accounts responsible;
- preserve relevant information where the law requires it;
- report apparent child sexual abuse material to the appropriate law-enforcement authorities, including the South African Police Service, and to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where required; and
- cooperate with law enforcement investigations.
We comply with all applicable child safety laws in the countries where our services are available.
5. Child safety contact
Our designated point of contact for child safety and CSAM prevention can be reached at hello@thesupergroup.co.
6. Related policies
These standards sit alongside our Terms of Service (including the zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content in section 5) and our Privacy Policy.
